Op-Ed: The Glebelands killing fields: Dead – 100, Convicted – 1. And no end in sight for hostel violence



Since the killing began in March 2014, 100 people have died in Glebelands Hostel-related violence in Umlazi, Durban – either violently from the bullets of hit men, or more slowly, from stress-induced illnesses caused by the fear of living daily in the shadow of death.
